This year, Citra Pariwara collaborated with tommy chandra to create a logo and icon that reinvents traditional masks using modern geometric elements. Yes, those crazy faces you’ve seen on our posts were all thanks to him! 🎭
But why the crazy faces? Because gutsy ideas deserve crazy expressive reactions! That’s why Tommy chose traditional masks to express himself because they represent Indonesian culture to tell stories and show feelings. Each mask expression symbolizes how Indonesian creative workers express their guts in this industry.
There are a total of 10 masks from various regions in Indonesia that are the basis for Tommy’s work. Not only that, but all of them also have positive symbolic meanings. Just like what we expect for CP this year.
